About Quantity Guide

Quantity Guide is a small set of calculators for home and property projects. Each one takes measurements you can get with a tape, and returns a quantity you can use when you talk to a supplier or contractor.

Every calculator shows its formula and a worked example, so you can check the result yourself instead of taking it on trust.

The calculators give estimates. They do not replace advice from your supplier, a builder or an engineer. See how the calculators work for the formulas, where typical values come from and how results are checked.
